எனக்கு வயது 75. எனது வீட்டின் மாடி அறையில் துவைப்பதற்காகத் துணிகளை சோப்புத்தூள் நீரில் ஊரவைத்து விட்டு கீழே சமையலறைக்கு வருவதற்காக ஈராமான காலோடு குறுகிய மாடிப்படிகளில் வழுக்கி உருண்டு விழுந்துவிட்டேன். வீட்டில் யாரும் இல்லை. வாசல்கதவு சாத்தியிருந்ததால் என் சத்தம் கேட்டு உடனே உதவ ஆளில்லாமல் எழுந்திருக்க முடியாமல் கிடந்தேன். என் முனகல் சத்தம் கேட்டு பக்கத்து வீட்டில் உள்ளோர் வந்து பார்த்து மகனுக்குத் தகவல் சொல்லி வரச் செய்தனர். என்னால் எழுந்திருக்கவே முடியாததால் ஆட்டோவில் தூக்கிப் போட்டு மருத்துவமனையில் சேர்த்தனர். பரிசோதனையில் இடது தொடைப் பகுதியில் எலும்புமுறிவு எனத் தெரிந்தது. ஆபரேஷன் செய்து எலும்புமுறிவை சரிசெய்தனர். 3 – நாளிலேயே வாக்கர் மூலம் நடக்கச் செய்தனர். இந்த வயதில் கிழே உருண்டு விழுந்த என்னை இடுப்பு எலும்பு சேதம், வேறு பலத்தகாயம், நினைவு தப்புதல் போன்ற பாதிப்பு இல்லாமல் விரைவில் வாக்கர் மூலம் ஆண்டவர் நடக்கச் செய்தார்.

I am 75 years old. At the upstairs room in our home, to wash the Clothes I soaked them in soap powder water and while coming down to kitchen with wet feet at a narrow stairs I sliped and rolled down. No one was at home and I was helpless. As the main door was also closed no one could come for a quick help and I was unable to get up. Hearing my moaning sound our neighbours came and helped me and informed my son to come home. As I was unable to get up I was taken to hospital in an auto. On checking my health at the hospital they found a fracture on my left thy and it was operated. In 3 days itself I was able to walk with the help of a walker. Falling down at this age without any hip bone fracture, unconsiousness or any other heavy wound, quickly with a walker Lord made me to walk.
